#SwopesShares is a creative initiative to bring up-and-coming photographers and Elise Swopes together in collaboration. The photographer provides minimal and unedited imagery as stock and Elise creates art with the image as the base to her surreal imagination. It's the perfect opportunity to feature photographers and their cities to a larger audience while seeing the behind the scenes of how Elise creates.

“Faith, Family, and Building Community” is what‘s important to @bdc.co, a photographer and digital painter, who was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. Benjamin is my first collaboration under the #SwopesShares initiative, where I collab with photographers by using their photography as stock imagery for my edits. It’s a perfect opportunity to feature them and their cities that I’ve never been to before. Swipe to see the before image and a super quick view of my edit.
I asked Benjamin what people can look forward to the most when following him. “Aside from my work” @bdc.co says, “I want people to look forward to learning about other creatives, especially those local to Charlotte. Whether it be through a portrait session, or an IG story, I want my profile to be a place where people can go to learn about others doing great things in their discipline. There are a lot of talented people out there, that don't always get that recognition, and I want to combat that.”
“This city is just full of inspiration everywhere,” says @ianstills, a versatile photographer from Houston, Texas, who holds the city dear his heart. “This has been home for almost all of my life and this is where my photography started.” Ian is the third collaboration under my #SwopesShares initiative, where I collaborate with photographers by using their photography as stock imagery for my edits. It’s a perfect opportunity to feature them and their cities that I’ve yet to visit. Swipe to see the before image and a super quick view of my edit.
“I shoot what I like and I shoot for myself, first and foremost. I just let my work be an open interpretation for others to discuss,” says @ianstills. “I want people to look at my photography and recognize my versatility as a creative. I want to make it as a freelance photographer.”
