Templates
Over, Unfold, and SparkPost are the best Instagram story editing apps. Most of them allow you to have a trial period of a week, so try each one out and have some fun. Cancel and delete the app if you don't find them useful because there are plenty of fish in the app Sea.

Color of Text
Changing the color and using the color picker for your text makes your Story more cohesive. Certain fonts will be able to have a solid background or a transparent background and some will not. So, play around and see what works for you.

Color of Background
You can find a virtual fill tool by pressing down with your finger while in the draw settings. Between the three different options, the marker fills with an 100% opacity while the highlighter fills with about 50%. There's also an option to erase where there is fill with the erase tool. These are all located at the top of the panel.

Doubling up your text can mimic a drop shadow effect. It's another helpful way to make your text pop! Try it with no-fill text and filled background text. Both render fun results.

Hide Hashtags
Using Hashtags in your stories can get you some major engagement but sometimes the look of a hashtag can throw even the most attentive eye off.
